The layout opens up the view from the station exit towards the main artery leading to the city center. An existing fountain with a strong heritage value is preserved in this axis and reinforces this linear reading.

Plant punctuations are scattered on a regular square composed of Senones granite (a nearby quarry in the Vosges), in a regular plan that allows for wheelchair access on the entire surface.

A monumental sculpture, already owned by the city, marks the western front of the square by integrating into a new pool.
