Pecquencourt (59) Housing Projects Lemay and Sainte-Marie, inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List - Silver award at the Victoires du Paysage

Maître d'ouvrage : Ville de Pecquencourt
Date de réalisation : 2013 / 2018
Surface du projet : 71 000 m²
Montant des travaux : 8 239 100 € H.T.

In Pecquencourt, the Lemay and Sainte-Marie housing projects are inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List of the mineral and mining field of Nord-Pas-de-Calais. By the requalification of their public spaces, we propose a new balance between the new identity of the latter and the reading of an architecture, which is become a patrimonial referent.

Public locations of the garden city, of the residential city and of the central space separating them, are reconquered by an idea of gardened park that is intruding on every corner.
